In short: this website gives general information about house and land packages and the building process. It isn't financial, credit, tax or legal advice, and you shouldn't rely on it to make a decision. Package details can change. Check official sources and get independent advice from licensed professionals before you decide.
1. About these terms
This website (firstvest.com.au) is operated by Richard Marsh, a sales consultant with Dreamstart Homes, part of the SSB Pty Ltd group [ABN] ("FirstVest", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. General information only
FirstVest is a website for first home buyers and investment buyers looking at new house and land packages. Everything on the site, including packages, articles, FAQs, grant and scheme information and the rent vs repayment illustration, is general information only. It:
- is not financial product advice, investment advice, credit assistance, tax advice or legal advice;
- is not a recommendation to buy any property, or to use any loan, lender, grant or scheme;
- has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs; and
- does not tell you how much you can borrow or whether you will be approved for a loan.
FirstVest, Richard Marsh and Dreamstart Homes do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence or an Australian Credit Licence and are not financial advisers or mortgage brokers. We don't provide rent, yield, capital growth or tax estimates. Before making any property or finance decision, get independent advice from a licensed financial adviser, mortgage broker, accountant or solicitor.
3. How we're paid
Our service is free to buyers because we're paid by the builder when you build with Dreamstart Homes or another SSB Pty Ltd group company. We are not independent of the builder. 4. No reliance
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that any information is complete, current or suitable for you. You should make your own enquiries and not rely on the site as the basis for any decision. Nothing on the site forms part of any contract unless it's included in a written contract you sign.
5. Package information
House and land package details (including prices, designs, land sizes, inclusions, rebates, promotions and title dates) are supplied by builders and land developers, haven't been independently verified by us, and may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Images are illustrative. Packages are sold by the relevant builder and land developer under their own contract terms, and a listing is not an offer capable of acceptance.
6. Grants, schemes and calculators
Information about grants, concessions and schemes (such as the First Home Owner Grant, transfer duty concessions, Keystart and the Home Guarantee Scheme) is a general summary and may be out of date. Eligibility is decided by the relevant government agency, Keystart or lender. Check official sources such as wa.gov.au and keystart.com.au. The rent vs repayment tool is a general illustration based on the assumptions shown with it. It isn't a quote, a borrowing estimate or an indication of loan approval.
7. Third-party links
The site links to websites run by others, such as government agencies, Keystart, builders and developers. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link isn't an endorsement.
8. Intellectual property
Content on this site is owned by or licensed to us. You may view and print it for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy or republish it for commercial purposes without our permission.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or any linked site. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
